New study: Arts and Culture at the Core of Philanthropy
On March 7th, European Foundation Centre (EFC) launched ‘Arts and Culture at the Core of Philanthropy’, its first ever study gathering and analysing data on the topic at European level. SIEPS are organising a seminar where they will take a closer look on the turnout in the EP-elections 2019 and implication for 2019. The voter turnout of the elections in 2014 will be discussed and used as a basis to make some predictions about the turnout of the elections in May. Eventuell förlängd Brexit
Det brittiska parlamentet röstade den 14 mars ja till att be de övriga EU-länderna om en förlängd Brexit. På torsdags kvällen röstade man också ned en rad förslag på tillägg till brexitprocessen. Bland annat sa man nej till att skjuta upp brexit för att kunna ha en ny folkomröstning och till att ge parlamentet mer makt i processen. Nu måste EU-länderna godkänna förlängningen. Vad händer framöver? Samtliga EU:s 27 medlemsländer måste säga ja till en möjlig förlängning till 30 juni. [...]
Culture on Waterfronts in Lisbon!
Intercult are representing Sweden in the interdisciplinary project S. O. S. Climate Waterfront. The project aims to explore the impact of climate change affecting Europe's waterfronts. Together, we will exchange transnational examples of best practices and discuss new approaches to tackle challenges connected with climate change.
