I september varje år håller EU-kommissionens ordförande ett tal om EUs tillstånd (SOTU). I år håller Ursula von der Leyen sitt första tal till komissionen som ordförande om Europas framtid och året som gått. Missa inte detta onsdagen den 16/9 kl 09.00! Planer för EU:s kulturella återhämtning
Europaparlamentets kommitté för kultur och utbildning anordnade den första september en videokonferens där den finansiella återhämtningen för det kulturella och kreativa Europa diskuterades. Organisationen Culture Action Europe publicerade i förra veckan en artikel om konferensen samt om betydelsen av Kreativa Europa som en del av kultursektorns återhämtning i och med Covid-19. Vi presenterar: Woven Network
Woven Network, eller Women’s Network på engelska, är en 6 månaders konstnärsresidens där 7 kvinnliga konstnärer från 5 europeiska länder samarbetar över 3 tidszoner. Projektet är en konstnärlig respons till den rådande pandemin, där många kvinnliga arbetare är på frontlinjen. Vi kommer utforska kring temat osynligt arbete, då många kvinnors arbete inom vården, utbildning och andra sektorer, ofta inte syns eller uppmärksammas. On the 16th of June 2020, we at Intercult had the pleasure of hosting a workshop together with our changemaker Livet Bitch! (which translates as Life Bitch!). The theme was: theatre as a space for feminist issues. The participants in workshop where from all over Sweden’s cultural field - decision makers, freelance artists, theatre producers, students and many more.
