Intercult is an independent production and resource unit based in Stockholm, Sweden. We have worked in Sweden and Europe since 1996, as initiator and leader of collaborative culture projects, networks and the development of international project competence. We take an active interest in national and European cultural policy.

Memory of Water Story – by Jonas Myrstrand

In the Memory of Water project, partners from six European cities in connection to water have explored how artists can influence future cultural planning and the preservation of the post-industrial cultural heritage.
Artists from the six different European cities have collaborated with local residents and organizations, politicians and urban developers. Jonas Myrstrand is a filmmaker and has during this project between 2018-2020 worked with filming and documenting the entire collaboration and has through his films both captured the work of the other participating artists and himself created and filmed memories of the journey through cities where civil society actively works to preserve the post-industrial heritage.
