Welcome to Intercult’s digital science café on the topic “The future of European cities – Challenges and solutions” on 24 September 2021, a conversation on how we can deal with the possible effects of climate change on European cities. Intercult works with climate issues within the framework of the Horizon 2020 project “S.O.S. for waterfronts”.
Science Café is based on an interactivity and dialogue between you as a participant and a number of invited researchers, with a focus on your and other participants’ perspectives and thoughts on the topic in question. Proposals for topics to address are possible adaptations of infrastructures, what solutions already exist or concerns about how the public can engage in the necessary changes.
“The future of European cities – Challenges and solutions” is part of the Science Festival Forskarfredag, the Swedish part of European Researchers’ Night, which aims to create a dialogue for the public with different fields of research.
The science café is organized by Vetenskapens hus in collaboration with VA (Public &Science), Intercult, Europe Direct Stockholm, Fundación Descubre, University of Malta, University of St Andrews and Psiquadro.
