Europa Nostra is Europe’s largest member organization for the work of drawing attention to Europe’s cultural and natural heritage.
The far-reaching effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the measures taken to curb it have affected all aspects of life and our environment, including World Heritage. This study analyzes and summarizes information gathered from EU Member States, to suggest what can be done to support the world of cultural heritage in the context of the corona pandemic, including existing EU instruments, and what is proposed by the EU in the Next Generation EU recovery plan.
